As devoted parents, we've always believed that the smallest moments make the biggest memories. The idea of building something that would bring more of those moments into our family life had been quietly brewing for a while.

Like most parents, Michael and I run on coffee. It's our little ritual — the moment of calm before the beautiful chaos of family life begins. As Willow grew into her second year, she became absolutely fascinated by our reusable cups. She wanted one of her own, and honestly, who could blame her? That's when it hit me — why not find her a fluffy little cup that matched ours?

What followed was a search across New Zealand that turned up nothing. And in that gap, Chai Baby was born.

I spent months designing cups that children would genuinely love — playful, beautiful and perfectly sized for little hands. With the final designs brought to life by our incredibly talented family artist Tony, we placed our first order and held our breath.

The response was everything we had hoped for and more. Families across New Zealand fell in love with them, and Michael began approaching retailers — who did too.

Now with our two little ones, Willow and Roman, using their Chai Baby cups every single day, we're reminded of exactly why we started. To create something that brings families together, one sip at a time.
